By browsing vilkoo.com or placing an order, you accept these Terms. Any rights you have under US federal or state consumer law still apply and prevail where they are mandatory.

We are a sole proprietorship registered in Sweden that sells lighting and home decor online to customers in the United States. We follow the US federal and state consumer rules that apply to those sales. Our support team usually answers emails within 1–2 business days.
Using the site
To use vilkoo.com you must be at least 18, or at least 13 with the consent of a parent or guardian. Please use the Site lawfully and in line with these Terms.

- Upload unlawful, harmful or offensive material

Everything on vilkoo.com belongs to us or is used with permission.
Text, photos, graphics, logos and code on the Site are owned by or licensed to Peter Hulspas, Sole Proprietorship. The Vilkoo name and logo may not be used without our written consent.
Copyright complaints (DMCA). If you think material on vilkoo.com infringes your copyright, email info@vilkoo.com with a description of the work, where the material appears on our Site, your contact details, a good-faith statement and your signature. Our Legal Notice explains the full procedure.
If you have an account, keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your login. Let us know right away at info@vilkoo.com if you suspect someone else has used it.
Products and prices
We describe and photograph our Products as accurately as we can, but small differences can occur. Colors and finishes may look slightly different on your screen, and natural materials such as wood, rattan, linen and ceramic vary from piece to piece.
Prices
- All prices are in US dollars
- We can correct a price error before your order ships
- The price you confirmed is the price you pay
Stock
- Products are offered while stock lasts
- We may set a maximum quantity per order
- If an item turns out to be unavailable, you get a full refund for it
Lighting and electrical items
Lamps and other electrical Products are made for standard US household outlets (110–120V) unless the product page says otherwise. Light bulbs are not included unless the product page explicitly says so. Always follow the included instructions, never exceed the maximum wattage shown on the packaging and/or the lamp itself, and have hard-wired fixtures installed by a qualified electrician.
Obvious pricing mistakes. If a Product is shown at a price that is clearly wrong, we don't have to sell it at that price. We will contact you and offer the correct price or cancel the order with a full refund.
Ordering and payment
When you place an Order, you make us an offer to buy. The contract between us starts when we email you an order confirmation.
We may cancel an order when
- The payment is declined or not completed
- The item is no longer in stock
- There is a clear error in price or description
- We have reason to suspect fraud

Your payment is taken at checkout through a secure payment provider. We never store your full card number. If we cancel an order you already paid for, we refund the full amount within 5–10 business days.

Delivery details are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
How long it takes
Orders usually arrive 8–10 business days after they ship, anywhere in the United States. You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order is on its way.
When the order becomes yours
Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered. We are not responsible for loss after the carrier confirms delivery to your address.
Check your address. Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct. We can't be held responsible if a parcel doesn't arrive because of an address error on your side.

30 days to change your mind
You can return items within 30 days of delivery, unused and in their original packaging. We refund you within 5–10 business days after we receive the return.
Starting a return
Email info@vilkoo.com with your order number within the 30 days and we'll guide you through it.
Nothing in these Terms or in our Returns & Refunds Policy takes away any mandatory right you have under the law.
Liability
As far as the law allows, the Site is offered "as is" without warranties. We never exclude liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
We are not responsible for
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Lost profits, data or goodwill
- Delays caused by carriers or events beyond our control
- Parcels that don't arrive because of an incorrect address
This never limits
- Your statutory consumer rights
- Our liability for death or injury caused by negligence
- Our liability for fraud
Liability limit
Our liability is limited to what you paid for the order in question.
Where the law permits, the total amount we owe for any claim will not be more than the price you paid for the Product or Products involved.
Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without applying its conflict-of-law rules. This does not affect consumer protections you are entitled to by law.
Where disputes are heard
The courts of Wilmington, Delaware handle any dispute.
Unless consumer law gives you the right to bring your claim in a court in the state where you live.

Individual claims only
Disputes are handled on an individual basis, not as part of a class action, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
Updates to these Terms. We announce important changes on our homepage at least 30 days before they take effect. You can also contact the FTC or your state attorney general if you have a complaint.
